Planning a wedding is exciting but it can also feel overwhelming and choosing the right photographer is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. I get it! I want you to feel completely confident before you even reach out, so I've put together answers to the questions I get asked most often.
What areas do you cover?
I'm based in Birmingham and cover the whole of the West Midlands, including Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and Staffordshire. I can also travel across the wider UK - just get in touch to discuss your location!
How much does wedding photography cost?
Wedding packages start from £850 for half day coverage up to £1,650 for a full day. Engagement shoots are available from £150 per hour. Bespoke hourly packages are also available for those who need something a little different, just get in touch to chat through your requirements.
What is included in the wedding packages?
All packages include professionally edited photos, a pre-wedding consultation, sneak peeks within 72 hours and a password protected online gallery. The full day package also includes a complimentary 1 hour engagement shoot!
How far in advance should I book?
Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak Saturday dates in summer. That said, it's always worth getting in touch even for shorter notice weddings as dates do sometimes become available, don't be afraid to ask!
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes! Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. They're relaxed and fun, and a brilliant opportunity for us to get to know each other ahead of the big day, which lots of couples find really helps them relax when it matters most.
How long until we receive our photos?
Your full edited gallery is typically delivered within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding day (maybe slightly longer during peak season). You'll also receive sneak peeks within 48 hours so you get a taste of your gallery while the excitement is still fresh!
What is your photography style?
My style is documentary and editorial. I blend into the background so you forget the camera is even there. Rather than directing every shot I focus on anticipating genuine moments as they happen, which means your gallery is full of real emotions and authentic memories rather than stiff posed shots.
How do you make people feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Making you feel at ease is my biggest priority! I take a relaxed, fun approach from the very first conversation, there's no stiff direction or awkward posing. I just get to know you, blend into your day, and let the real moments unfold naturally.
Do you shoot alone or with a second photographer?
I typically shoot alone, which keeps things relaxed and intimate on your wedding day. However for larger weddings a second shooter can be arranged, just mention it when you get in touch and we can discuss what works best for your day.
Can we print our photos?
Absolutely! All galleries are delivered with full printing rights so your images are yours to keep, print, and share forever.
How do we secure our date?
Get in touch via the contact form and I'll send over all the details and availability for your date. A 20% deposit is required to secure the date.
